An Anjouan gaming license is evidence of registration under the Anjouan Gaming scheme. It does not, by itself, establish permission to serve your country, prove that a casino follows every published standard, or guarantee recovery of your balance. Those questions require separate checks.
Advertising disclosure: we may earn commission from links below. How this works
Anjouan license verification starts with the company taking your deposits. Compare its license record with your account terms and identify who can consider a dispute. Together, these checks help you assess the operator’s responsibilities and your options if something goes wrong.
An Anjouan casino license is an authorization for online gambling issued within a licensing scheme associated with Anjouan, an island in the Union of the Comoros. According to Anjouan Gaming’s published overview, the scheme relies on legislation adopted in 2005, including the Anjouan Computer Gaming Licensing Act. That is the scheme’s account of its legal foundation; questions about the status of the institutions involved are explained below.
When checking an Anjouan online casino license, distinguish between an operator and a supplier. Under the published license categories, a business-to-consumer, or B2C, license concerns a company offering gambling directly to players. A business-to-business, or B2B, license concerns services such as software or platform technology. A supplier’s approval does not establish that the casino taking your deposit holds the appropriate operator license.
When a site names several businesses, distinguish the operator holding your gambling account from companies supplying software or processing payments. The account terms should explain those roles clearly enough to identify who is responsible for your balance.
Anjouan Gaming’s overview describes three organizations within its institutional structure:
These names do not change the party responsible for your account: the casino operator. The operator handles your balance and service complaints; the scheme’s administrative and oversight functions concern licensing and compliance.
There is an important question about the authority’s status. In a Central Bank warning published by the Comoros Ministry of Finance on 10 December 2025, the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority is named among entities described as fictitious in connection with banking and financial authorizations. This concerns an institution invoked in the gaming scheme’s own account. The warning addresses financial activities, however, and should not be presented as a ruling on every gambling license. Attribution is essential when discussing the scheme’s claimed authority.
The published regulatory standards call for independently certified random number generators, disclosed game information, customer due diligence, age checks, self-exclusion, and deposit and loss limits. They also require player funds to be separated from operating funds.
Look for testing information identifying the laboratory and relevant games, functioning limits, and an exclusion procedure. These are practical ways to assess the published Regulatory Standards. A requirement appearing in a policy document is not evidence that a particular operator has implemented it.
Game fairness also differs from winning. A published return-to-player percentage describes theoretical performance over many plays; it does not predict your session or promise that a particular share of your deposit will come back.
The practical limits concern enforcement and recovery. Published rules may allow action against a license, but that is different from securing repayment to an individual player. Similarly, a requirement to separate player balances from operating money does not establish an insured compensation scheme. Ask what the operator says happens to customer funds if it stops trading, and who would handle an outstanding claim.
Start with the footer, terms and licensing page. Record the legal operator, license number and exact domain. If these pages name different businesses, establish which company holds your account before interpreting a register entry.
Search the Anjouan license register by company name, license number or domain. Compare the result with your account terms: the legal entity, B2C operator status, license status and website address should make sense together. Where displayed, check issue and expiry dates as well.
Anjouan Gaming’s Registry Disclaimer limits what this check proves. A listed domain has been reported as associated with licensed activity; inclusion does not independently confirm ownership of the domain, brand or trademark. The license conditions require approved operational domains, but domain approval and proof of ownership are different things.
A saved Anjouan gaming license list can become outdated. The register itself is updated periodically, and inclusion is not an endorsement. Read the status and expiry date together. If they conflict, request clarification through the licensing website and retain the dated response. Follow the same approach when a record disagrees with a suspension or revocation notice.
An indexed copy of the register, checked on 2 October 2026, showed the following entry. This is a dated example of how to read a record, not confirmation of live status or a recommendation.
| License holder | 1Adventure Ltd |
|---|---|
| License number | ALSI-122405025-FI2 |
| Type and displayed status | B2C; valid |
| Issue and expiry dates | 17 May 2024; 16 May 2027 |
| Listed domain | duelbet.com |
The casino’s terms named the same company and number. However, the linked validator retrieved on 2 October displayed an expired-seal warning alongside a valid operating status. An expired seal is not proof that the license itself has expired; it leaves the current check unresolved. Follow the validator’s instruction to refresh the originating page and click the seal again. If the warning persists, seek clarification before depositing. Matching company details alone cannot resolve conflicting verification signals.
An Anjouan gaming license logo is a starting point, not proof. Inspect the destination of its verification link and compare the record with the register. A copied seal, screenshot or certificate hosted only on the casino’s server provides no independent confirmation. Watch for misspelled domains and unrelated companies.
If the site separately claims Curaçao authorization, check that claim through the Curaçao Gaming Authority and its official CGA license register. These concern a separate jurisdiction. A Curaçao entry cannot validate an Anjouan license or automatically cover a different operator using the same brand.
Assess the casino across three areas: authorization where you live, its treatment of player accounts, and the controls available to you. Anjouan licensed casinos share a licensing framework, but their terms and operating histories still need individual assessment.
Read the terms before creating an account. Look for a named operator, usable contact details, eligibility rules and a privacy policy explaining who receives your information. Check that the payment, bonus and account rules do not contradict each other.
For Great Britain, the Gambling Commission’s remote gambling guidance states that businesses serving British consumers need its license, including businesses based abroad. Anjouan authorization alone does not meet that requirement. Search the UK Gambling Commission’s business register for the operator, trading name or domain and inspect the relevant status and activities.
Anjouan’s published operator code calls for clear withdrawal conditions before a transaction. A headline promising fast payouts is insufficient if the terms leave the applicable limits, charges or account restrictions unexplained.
When researching complaints, prioritize dated accounts with a clear timeline and an operator response. Repeated unresolved payment reports deserve attention, but anonymous ratings cannot establish what happened. Check whether reviewers disclose commercial relationships and distinguish resolved cases from outstanding disputes.
Before submitting identification, check the privacy policy for the company receiving your documents and the purpose of the request. Use the operator’s verified upload channel. A licensing seal and an encrypted connection do not, by themselves, show how personal information is handled after submission.
Check responsible gambling tools before you need them. GAMSTOP’s online self-exclusion service covers gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain. An Anjouan license does not establish participation in that scheme. If you have self-excluded, seeking websites outside its coverage undermines the protection you chose.
If gambling is becoming difficult to control, GamCare offers support and practical resources, including information about blocking software and self-exclusion. Choosing a different licensing jurisdiction does not address gambling harm.
Read the cashier page alongside the account terms. Check withdrawal methods, fees, currency conversion and payment limits. The scheme’s disclosure requirements make these details relevant to licensing compliance: a restriction introduced only after you request payment may be grounds to question whether the original information was clear.
For illustration, a €2,000 balance subject to a €500 monthly withdrawal limit would require at least four monthly allowances to withdraw fully. That is a hypothetical operator condition, not a standard Anjouan rule. Disclosure matters because the size of a displayed balance alone does not tell you when it can be withdrawn.
For a delayed payment, identify the outstanding stage: document review, casino processing or the payment provider’s transfer. Compare the explanation with the terms that applied to your request. A clear discrepancy is more useful in a complaint than a general allegation of slow service.
The published standards require customer due diligence and transaction monitoring. Identity verification may involve your name, age, address and payment-method ownership. Consult the KYC policy for accepted documents and timing; quick registration does not mean later checks are prohibited. Retain submission confirmations if a dispute concerns repeated or unexplained requests.
For cryptocurrency, establish the currency of your casino balance, supported network and conversion charges. Preserve the blockchain transaction reference and the casino’s receipt; they document different stages of the payment.
A confirmed blockchain transfer does not decide whether the casino credited the correct balance or properly approved a withdrawal. The same account terms, identity checks and complaint process remain relevant.
Before accepting an Anjouan casino bonus, establish which balance the wagering requirement applies to. A hypothetical €100 bonus with a 30-times bonus-only requirement means €3,000 in qualifying wagers. If the same multiplier applies to a €100 deposit plus that bonus, the requirement becomes €6,000. Neither figure represents a guaranteed cost or return.
The operator code requires clear disclosure of bonus and wagering conditions before acceptance. Check game contributions, exclusions, expiry and maximum stakes against the offer. If an undisclosed restriction is later used to withhold winnings, identify that discrepancy in the operator’s complaint process rather than arguing only that the promotion was unfair.
For free spins or no deposit offers, identify any cap on withdrawable winnings and whether the proceeds become bonus funds. Also check what happens if you withdraw your own deposit before completing the offer. If a dispute arises, the relevant evidence is the version of the conditions presented when you accepted. Decline an offer whose restrictions exceed your intended spending.
Gather your account identifier, transaction references, relevant dates and screenshots of the applicable terms. Explain the issue in a short timeline and state the outcome you are requesting. For a disputed withdrawal, include the amount, request date and the reason the operator gave for withholding it.
Keep the original complaint, submission confirmation and reference number. These show when the formal process began and help an ADR provider assess whether the operator has had time to respond.
Under Anjouan Gaming’s Regulatory Framework menu, the Player Complaint Process gives the following timetable:
The published route uses the complaint function accessed through the operator’s interactive site seal. Informal support chats may not count as a formal submission. Follow the current instructions promptly and keep proof of delivery.
The procedure directs unresolved cases to an approved independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider after 30 days, with the operator bearing the cost. Anjouan Gaming says it does not mediate or adjudicate individual player disputes. A regulatory report may inform supervision, but it is not a decision ordering payment to you.
The license conditions require an approved ADR provider’s name and contact details in player terms. They also specify a transition: these requirements apply immediately to new applications, while existing licensees must comply by their next renewal. Although the complaint procedure describes ADR participation as mandatory, do not assume every existing operator has already completed implementation.
Ask which provider currently accepts disputes involving your operator. In Anjouan Gaming’s Resources menu, find Authorized ADR Providers and cross-check the name. Then read the provider’s own eligibility rules, deadlines and decision terms. Establishing the route before depositing is more useful than discovering during a dispute that no provider is identified.
The complaint policy excludes some matters from regulatory review, including complaints from excluded territories. An ADR provider can also decline an ineligible case. If substantial money is involved, advice in your jurisdiction may help clarify further options. Avoid recovery services that demand advance payment while promising a guaranteed result.
Before funding an account, confirm each of the following:
If a material detail remains unexplained, resolve it before depositing. The strongest basis for a decision is a consistent set of records, clear account terms and a usable route for help.
No. A licensing claim must be considered alongside the rules applying where you are located. Website access, an accepted registration and support assurances do not establish local authorization. Where your jurisdiction maintains a register of permitted operators, use it to check the relevant business and website. Do not assume that a license issued elsewhere overrides local requirements.
Anjouan gaming license holders can request additions or removals of operational domains, subject to approval. Several brands may therefore appear against one license. Compare the company and domain information, remembering that the listing records a notified association rather than independently proving ownership. Shared branding alone does not establish coverage.
Recheck the company, domain and licensing details against the updated terms. Ask who is responsible for your existing balance, pending withdrawals and unresolved complaints. Save the notice of the change and the terms that applied previously. A new licensing badge does not explain how an existing claim will be handled or confirm that the same complaint provider remains available.
Pause registration and deposits. Use independently located licensing contact details to resolve the discrepancy, because register updates may lag behind changes. If the company, status or domain remains unexplained, the claim is not sufficiently verified to rely on. Avoid replacing missing evidence with assurances from a sales representative.
