No active, first-time Gibraltar-licensed casino launch was fully verified for players in Great Britain within our review period, 3 October 2025 to 2 October 2026. The research did confirm recent licensing developments and identify possible newcomers that still need launch evidence.
Advertising disclosure: we may earn commission from links below. How this works
A new casino opens for the first time; a newly licensed operator may run a casino that already exists. Midnite illustrates the second case. For readers searching for a new Gibraltar online casino, that distinction matters more than a recent licence date or a refreshed website.
This guide covers England, Scotland and Wales. It explains what the records establish, which candidates remain worth checking and how to confirm the company responsible for a British account.
The table separates three outcomes: established brands, surrendered British permission and verification pending. These are research results, not casino recommendations. Midnite and MrQ are included to explain misleading signals of “newness”; the other entries came from launch reports or the expanded register checks.
| Brand | Development checked | Research result |
|---|---|---|
| Midnite | Gibraltar licence reported in September 2026 | Established casino; recent licensing development |
| MrQ | Operator’s Gibraltar register entry | Established brand dating to 2018 |
| ITV Win Bingo and Spins | January 2026 product launch | Named operator’s British permissions surrendered |
| BettaBet | Reported August 2026 launch | Casino opening date and Gibraltar brand details pending |
| Jazzy Cat | Brand found in Solaya’s approved record | Licensing connection verified; first launch date pending |
| Zebra Bingo | Supplier reported a 2025 platform launch | Exact first casino opening and Gibraltar brand details pending |
| BlackRush | New Zealand launch report dated 1 October 2026 | British eligibility and exact launch date unconfirmed |
Midnite’s casino was already described in Wazdan’s announcement of 2 November 2023. That establishes an earlier operating history without requiring its exact opening day.
For its Gibraltar licensing, GBC’s report dated 14 September 2026 says the licence was signed the preceding Friday, pointing to 11 September. The Gibraltar record confirms gaming licence RGL 176. Separately, Midnite Limited’s British casino permission, account 101839, starts on 11 August 2026. These are licensing dates, not a first casino launch.
MrQ’s 2018 launch history also places it outside the period. Gibraltar’s register lists Tek Fox Limited (Mr Q Group) as a B2C gaming operator; Tek Fox’s British record, account 60629, shows casino permission from 29 September 2023.
Gibraltar’s main register lists Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited as a B2C gaming operator. Its linked PDF dated 11 August 2026, however, lists B2B Gambling Services licence RGL 171 and no brands. B2C covers customer-facing operations; B2B covers services to other businesses. The documents do not explain the difference.
The British operator record confirms active casino permission from 9 March 2022, and its domain list includes BettaBet as active.
The remaining gaps concern BettaBet’s first casino opening date and Gibraltar’s brand-specific approval details. A reported betting-site launch does not settle the casino date. This is a verification gap, not evidence that Grace Media lacks permission.
The expanded checks found Jazzycat in Solaya’s Gibraltar approved-brand record, under gaming licence RGL 168. The UKGC domain record lists both Jazzy Cat and Zebra Bingo as white labels under Solaya. Solaya’s British casino permission starts on 11 November 2025.
Jazzy Cat’s licensing connection is therefore supported, but no dated first-launch announcement was verified. Its public content dated July 2026 does not establish when it first opened.
Playtech’s announcement of 22 May 2026 places Zebra Bingo’s platform launch in 2025. It does not give the exact date or establish the first casino opening. Zebra is absent from the checked Gibraltar brand PDF, so that connection also needs clarification. The same announcement describes Bingostars and Peachy Games as migrations, which should not be counted as first launches.
ITV announced Bingo and Spins on 29 January 2026, but Richmond Atlantic’s British record shows both permissions surrendered on 9 May. The announcement cannot establish current availability through that operator. A Gibraltar gaming licence was not verified.
BlackRush’s New Zealand launch was reported by World Casino Directory on 1 October 2026, with the site said to have appeared shortly after 29 September. The exact opening date remains unconfirmed; 1 October is the report date. Entain’s August brand record confirms ElectraWorks’ gaming licence RGL 050 but does not name BlackRush. Its British eligibility was not established, so the overseas report does not identify a British option.
Gibraltar’s register identifies licensed businesses and their permitted activities. An approved-brand record helps connect a casino name to its operator. Neither document is a launch calendar or a rating of payment speed, customer service or bonus value.
British authorisation answers a separate question. The UKGC states that an overseas licence does not permit serving consumers in Great Britain. The company serving your account needs the appropriate British permission.
If you want the licensing framework explained in more detail, read Gibraltar Gaming License. If your priority is an established operator rather than a first-time launch, continue with Gibraltar Online Casinos.
For British-licensed online gambling, GAMSTOP provides self-exclusion across participating licensed businesses. A new brand is not a reason to disregard an existing exclusion. GamCare offers support if gambling is becoming difficult to control.
Candidates came from Gibraltar register entries and searches for dated casino launches, operator changes and platform announcements. We followed recent licensing signals for Midnite and Solaya, launch reports for BettaBet, ITV Win and BlackRush, and used MrQ as an established-brand comparison.
Beyond the original three PDFs, we examined eight further approved-brand records: Gamesys, Maple/Lottomart, Virgin Bet, Rank, Buzz Bingo, Blue Rock, Red Rock and Solaya. Follow-up searches included their brands and dated supplier announcements; the Solaya checks added Jazzy Cat and Zebra Bingo to the results. We also checked relevant UKGC permissions and domain records.
This was broader screening, not an exhaustive launch census. Records and announcements were assessed for the stated period and British audience. Missing evidence was left unresolved. We opened no funded accounts and did not test registration, games, support or withdrawals. The findings concern public records, not measured casino performance.
None met every first-launch requirement for the stated British review period. Jazzy Cat has a verified licensing connection but an unconfirmed opening date; the table distinguishes such pending cases from established brands.
No. An existing casino can change its legal operator or gain permission in another jurisdiction. Look for a dated first-opening announcement as well as current licence records.
A Gibraltar licence alone does not authorise an operator to serve players in England, Scotland or Wales. Check the company responsible for your account in the UKGC register.
No. A document may be incomplete or predate a brand addition. Treat the connection as unresolved until the regulator or appropriate current records clarify it.
Use the companion Gibraltar Online Casinos guide, then check the current operator and permissions. This article assesses new-launch claims; it does not rank the casinos’ services or offers.
